June 22, 2020 SAT
29 August 2020, SAT Cancelled for security breach in all of Egypt

We’re sorry to inform you that the SAT and SAT Subject Test administrations are canceled in Egypt until further notice. This includes all administrations for the remainder of the 2020-21 academic year (through June 2021), starting with the September 2020 administration. Thank you for your partnership in administering the SAT and providing opportunities to students.

Persistent test security incidents have led to repeated test administration cancellations, as well as score holds and cancellations, despite our implementing numerous additional security procedures. Due to these test security issues, we cannot continue administering the SAT in Egypt at this time. It is not fair to students to repeatedly schedule and cancel scores and test administrations.

This was a very difficult decision, but we must maintain the integrity of the exam. We are committed to ensuring that all test takers have the same opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in a fair testing environment and that the scores we deliver are accurate and valid.

If you have any questions, please contact Test Administration Services at tas@ets.org or +1-609-771-7788.

Thank you for your partnership in working to ensure a fair testing environment for all students and to deliver reliable test scores to colleges and universities.
