Middle School Letter

Dear Middle School Parents,

I want to officially welcome all of you to the 2017-2018 School Year! I am thrilled at the opportunity to get to know all of you and engage in the educational process together to continue with the excellent traditions of Narmer American College, and to introduce exciting new programs. Our programs this year will be structured to ensure that all our students continue to receive a well-rounded and challenging education. Our standards and expectations remain high! As always, our number one goal is providing our students with a quality educational experience in a safe, caring and nurturing environment that challenges all students to become lifelong learners.

Our curriculum focuses on student achievement. We have high expectations for each student. We expect students to attend school regularly, put forth an effort in each classroom, and respect the rights of each individual in our school. To prepare our students for the IB Program, integration between the different subjects will be an essential part of our curriculum. Integration will present a broad range of teaching and learning opportunities across subjects and in relationship to specific curriculum themes. Cross-curricula integration will create opportunities for students’ learning outside the formal classroom through educational field trips and integrated projects.

The middle school years are critical times of development for students and families alike. NAC Middle Schoo lteam is committed to help students become emotionally, academically and socially competent young adults. The Middle School team at NAC is looking forward to working with each of you this school year to make this year successful for all our students.

Sincerely,
Hala Ahmed
Middle School Principal
