Welcome from Head of School
Dear Parents and Students: Welcome to the opportunities at Narmer American College (NAC) in 2016-2017. As NAC begins its 17th year, we do so with experienced Faculty and Staff who are focused on the learning of each student. Both the American Program and the British Section are served well by an established school of record and achievement now having 637 graduates or alumni.
Central in the curriculum and educational program is that we teach:
• critical thinking
to prepare students to live and work in the 21st Century in a Global World. We do not tell students what to think, but we do teach them how to think, which is a basic skill serving students for a lifetime. We work constantly to maintain the school programs as strong and vibrate, using current technology to expand the horizons of our students. And, we are preparing now to add the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, in addition to the IGCSE program desired by our students and parents..
The NAC campus and school community is enriched by a diversity of programs, people and ways of thinking, led by the gifted and experienced Faculty who focus completely on student learning and success. With a library, art rooms, studios and graphic design; science laboratories, music, band, theatre, drama, a pool, physical education, health, introduction to computers, BASIC and advanced computer programming, web design, Model United Nations (MUN), Field Trips as a part of the curriculum, Advanced Placement courses, Pre-SAT and SAT I and II---all prepares a student to work to their potential and achieve high goals and standards .
At NAC students take their first step to the rest of the world!.
